DIGNITY FIRST SOMALIA (DFS) is dedicated to restoring human dignity by ensuring that safe water and sanitation are not luxuries, but fundamental rights. We focus on reaching the most marginalized—minorities, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and vulnerable host communities. By providing reliable access to clean water and hygienic environments, we create a foundation for health and hope in the most challenging conditions across Somalia.
Our approach integrates WASH services directly into essential institutions like schools and health facilities. By addressing water and hygiene challenges where they matter most, DFS ensures a holistic improvement in community well-being. From building latrines to promoting hygiene education, our goal is to eliminate water-borne diseases and foster a culture of health that lasts for generations.
